Many people have asked about the symbol chosen to represent the ministry of Sacred Crossings… It is known as The ‘Vesica Piscis’, and consists of two overlapping, intersecting spheres. It is an ancient symbol used in Pagan culture, Christian symbolism, sacred geometry and various other belief systems. The two circles represent the joining of the spirit and the material worlds and the never-ending cycle of existence.   The oval space between the circles represents the Yoni of the Divine Feminine from which all of creation emerges, and to which all of creation returns upon death. It is the Gateway between the worlds - the ‘bridge between heaven and earth’.

An iron rendition of this symbol was created to form the lid of the Chalice Well in Glastonbury, England and was the inspiration for our logo.
